Converter

This tool converts TIFF and BMP-format files to RLC files.

The data to be converted must be on a storage medium or in a drive that the computer can access. The converted data is saved in the current project.

Link with Scanned Image

You can use this tool to associate a bitmap image with the active work file and/or to set parameters which govern the appearance of the image without altering the bitmap image file itself.

Copy Image

Use this tool to copy scanned bitmap images.

Convert Image to Bitmap File

You can use this tool to convert an RLC-format scan to a monochrome bitmap file.

Create Bitmap Area

You can use this tool to create monochrome bitmap areas straight from linked scanned images. The bitmap file associated with the bitmap area is saved in the project's design folder. The bitmap areas are no longer associated with the scanned image and can be edited like any other bitmap area.

Save Area

You can use this tool to save an area of the image as a new image.

Compress

You can use this tool to compress scanned image files.

Border

This tool applies a rectangle in the construction line color around the scan image so that you can see its extents. Whenever you delete an area of the scanned image, it is updated so that its extents fit the border you applied.

Get Info

You can use this tool display information on the drawing files that scanned images reference.

You can use this to mirror an area of a scanned bitmap image (the original is deleted).

Copy and Mirror Area

You can use this tool to mirror an area of a scanned image (the original is retained).

Copy Area

You can use this tool to copy an area of the current scanned image associated with the drawing file.

Move Area

You can use this tool to move an area of the current scanned image associated with the drawing file.

Rotate Area

You can use this tool to rotate an area of the current scanned image associated with the drawing file.

Correcting an area of a scanned image by entering three points

You can use this tool to correct an area of a scanned image by entering three points.

Copy and Resize, Rotate Area

You can use this tool to copy, resize and rotate an area of a scanned image in a single operation.
The steps are the same as with Copy and Resize from the Draft module.
