Rotating area

You can use the Rotate Area tool to rotate an area of the current scanned image associated with the drawing file.

• When you employ the Rotate Area tool to rotate an area of the image, the file containing the image is also modified. You should therefore use Copy Image to make a backup copy first.

To rotate an area of the scanned image currently associated with the drawing file

1. Click Rotate Area (How).
   

   Activate Rotate Area in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Modify Bonus Tools Scan

   • Palette: Tools Modify area in the following module(s):

   Scan

2. Use the polyline entry tools to define the area you want to rotate.
3. To rotate the area, do the following:
   • Enter a starting point and direction point
   • Enter the angle (a positive angle leads to counter-clockwise rotation)
   • Specify a reference line and direction line of an existing element.
