Copying and resizing, rotating area

You can use the Copy and Resize, Rotate Area tool to copy, resize and rotate an area of a scanned image in a single operation. The steps are the same as with Copy and Resize from the Draft module.

• When you employ the Copy and Resize, Rotate Area tool to edit the image, the file containing the image is also modified. You should therefore use Copy Image to make a backup copy first.

To copy and resize an area of the scanned image currently associated with the drawing file

1. Click Copy and Resize, Rotate Area (How).
   

   Activate Copy and Resize, Rotate Area in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Modify Bonus Tools Scan

   • Palette: Tools Modify area in the following module(s):

   Scan

2. Use the polyline entry tools to define the area you want to edit.
3. The remaining steps are the same as with the Copy and Resize tool.
