Merge Images

Module(s): Scan

You can use the Merge Images tool to merge two scanned images together, to join up a drawing that you scanned in in sections, for example.

• When you use this tool to merge two images, the file containing the image is also modified.
  You should therefore use Copy Image to make a backup copy first.

To merge two scanned images

1. Click Merge Images (How).
   

   Activate Merge Images in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Modify Bonus Tools Scan

   • Palette: Tools Modify area in the following module(s):

   Scan

2. Select the scanned image to be merged with the one currently associated and click Open.

   The drop-in point for the image that you want to merge is to the right of and below the current image. The images are merged when you place the drop-in point.

3. If necessary, use Move Area to move parts of the image.
