Moving area

Module(s): Scan

You can use the Move Area tool to move an area of the current scanned image associated with the drawing file.

• When you employ the Move Area tool to move an area of the image, the file containing the image is also modified. You should therefore use Copy Image to make a backup copy first.

To move an area of the scanned image currently associated with the drawing file

1. Click Move Area (How).
   

   Activate Move Area in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Modify Bonus Tools Scan

   • Palette: Tools Modify area in the following module(s):

   Scan

2. Use the polyline entry tools to define the area you want to move.
3. To move the area, do the following:
   • Enter the start and end points for the move
   • Enter the X and Y vector in the dialog line.
