Deleting area

You can use the Delete Area tool to delete an area of the current scanned image associated with the drawing file.

• When you employ the Delete Area tool to delete an area of the image, the file containing the image is also modified. You should therefore use Copy Image to make a backup copy first.

To delete an area of the scanned image currently associated with the drawing file

1. Click Delete Area (How).
   

   Activate Delete Area in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Modify Bonus Tools Scan

   • Palette: Tools Modify area in the following module(s):

   Scan

2. Use the polyline entry tools to define the area you want to delete.

   The selected area is deleted.
