Filling area

Module(s): Scan

You can use the Fill Area tool to fill an area of the scanned image with the color of the image.

• When you employ the Fill Area tool to fill an area of the image, the file containing the image is also modified. You should therefore use Copy Image to make a backup copy first.

To fill an area of the scanned image currently associated with the drawing file

1. Click Fill Area (How).
   

   Activate Fill Area in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Modify Bonus Tools Scan

   • Palette: Tools Modify area in the following module(s):

   Scan

2. Use the polyline entry tools to define the area you want to fill.

   The selected area is filled with the color of the scanned image.
