Tool(s) All architectural elements
Whenever you create an architectural element, you can change its parameters by clicking Properties.
This dialog box offers a wide range of parameters. You can change these before you create the component or as you do so. Previews show the options you have to enter information. In the Preview, you can display architectural elements in the standard views or in views of the Wireframe, Hidden or Animation type.
The parameters you can assign vary from element to element. A ceiling, for instance, can be assigned a thickness whereas a room cannot.
Note: The parameters you set can be saved as a favorite file and read back into the dialog box. This way, you can save the complex settings for a wall consisting of multiple construction layers and retrieve (and, if you want, modify them) whenever you need.
All attributes are listed below. To find out more about an attribute, click it:
Name (applies to Room only)
Function (applies to Room only)
Click the Height button to define the height of the component. You can define the height as an absolute value. You can also associate the height of the element with default or custom reference planes or relative to other building elements.
This is where you can assign custom surfaces to architectural elements or modify surfaces. These surfaces appear in viewports with the Animation view type (and in the Animation module).
