Change archit. properties

Various modules in the Architecture family

You can use the Change Archit. Properties tool to display and modify the architecture-specific properties of architectural elements, 3D solids and 2D surface elements. You can also change different elements in a single operation.

Tip: When you select the Change Archit. Properties tool on the shortcut menu of an architectural element, Allplan automatically matches the properties of this element and selects the respective component.

To modify several parameters of architectural elements in one go

  1. Click Change Archit. Properties (How).
  2. Specify the parameters whose setting you want to change.

Tip: You can use Match parameters to enter the settings of an architectural element in to the dialog box. You can then modify them.

  3. Select the parameters you want to assign to the architectural elements.
Select the check box(es) of the parameters you want to change.
  4. Select the elements you want to modify.

Tip: Filter by architectural component (Filter Assistant toolbar) facilitates the process of selecting architectural elements within a selection window.

  5. Click Apply to confirm your entries or click in the workspace with the right mouse button.
  6. After this, the program automatically checks the model data. The approach is the same as with Mark Critical Model Data.

Any critical model data found is flashing in the selection color and a message to this effect is displayed.

Note: Architectural elements can also be modified using the shortcut menus or the Apply Archit. Component Properties (How) tool (analogous to creation method).
