Setting the height of architectural elements

Tool(s): All architectural elements + Wall/upstand, parameters + Several tools ...

In the Properties dialog box of the relevant component, click the Height button to define the height of the component.

You can specify the height as follows:

As an absolute value (relative to the datum) with
Relative to the default reference plane with or
Relative to a custom reference plane with or
Relative to the top and bottom of an existing element with
In the case of inclined reference elements (e.g. custom-defined planes or existing elements), you can specify how the offset to these elements is interpreted:
- Click if you want Allplan to interpret the offset as a value perpendicular to the reference element.
- Otherwise, click (the height is interpreted as a vertical offset).

Adaptation of the component's upper edge to the upper reference plane with

Tip: The height of the default reference planes is displayed in the preview as an aid to orientation.

Note: You can use Match on the Context toolbar or in the Properties dialog box to match the settings from an existing component.
