Associating the Top Level of a Component with the Upper Reference Plane
Setting the Height of Architectural Elements
This controls how the top level of a component (of a wall or a chimney, for example) behaves relative to the upper reference plane.
To associate the top level of a component with the upper reference plane
- Click
- Normal:
This will cause the component to be drawn along the plane and ‘cut’ at an angle if necessary. - Jamb wall:
The lowest point where the component and reference plane intersect is locked and the component is drawn horizontally at this height. - Chimney:
The top point where the component and reference plane intersect is locked and the component is drawn horizontally at this height.
Note: These options are not available if the height has been defined as an absolute value.
