Height, Absolute Value

Height of architectural elements

You can use this option to define the height of the component top and bottom levels as an absolute height (relative to the datum level).

Example

Let us assume the building’s datum level is 0 (based on the top level of the uncovered floor on the ground floor level).

The walls on the ground floor might have the following height values:

0.00 for bottom level
2.50 for top level

You can enter the following values for the walls on the top floor:

2.66 for bottom level
5.25 for top level

The top and bottom of walls with absolute height values are always straight. If you want the top and/or bottom of a wall to be slanting, create a custom pair of reference planes and set the height of the walls relative to the planes.
