Tool(s): Modify Legends
To change the properties of a cell in an existing legend
- Click Modify Legends (How).
- As only the legends you have created yourself may be modified, click Office.
- Select the legend you want to modify.
- Click Element Information.
- Click the cell.
- Make your changes:
- List region: this is where the region of the legend (header, row etc.) is shown.
- Cell number: this shows the number of the cell; you can change it.
- Cell contents: specify whether the cell is to contain a formula or an attribute. Use this to change the cell type; you can also modify the contents of the cell by clicking the button.
- View: click View to get information from parent smart symbols.
- Description: use this to define an XML tag for formulas.
- Output format: use this to change the cell's format.
- Unit: use this to change the cell's unit.
- Orientation: use this to place cells so that they are left-aligned, right-aligned or flush with the bottom edge.
- Click OK to confirm the dialog box.
- Press ESC to quit the Info tool.
- When you have made all the necessary changes, press ESC to quit Modify Legends.
- You can specify whether you want to
discard,
save or
write the changes to the current drawing file.
