To define the unit
- On the context toolbar, click Unit.
In the case of alphanumeric attributes you can enter up to eight characters in the dialog line. The Unit dialog box opens for number formats.
- The following options are available in the Unit dialog box:
Unit area:
- Click a unit to select it
- Click User-Defined to define your own unit
Format area:
- Select the Do not show unit check box if the unit is not to be displayed.
- Select the Show sign check box if the + and - signs are to be displayed.
- Select the Last character as superscript check box if the last decimal place is to be displayed as superscript.
- Select the Do not show trailing zeros check box if trailing zeros are not to be used to pad out the number of decimal places you defined in Format.
- Select the Hide zeros check box if you want trailing zeros to be hidden.
You can define a substitute text if you want.
- Click OK to confirm the dialog box.
