Modifying buildings

Module(s): Urban Planning

You can use the Modify Building tool to modify buildings.

To modify a building

1. Click Modify Building (How).
   

   Activate Modify Building in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Modify Terrain Urban Planning

   • Palette: Tools Change area in the following module(s):

   Urban Planning

   • Configuration: Landscaping/Urban Planning Urban Planning flyout
2. Click the building you want to modify.
3. Click Building Rep to specify a name for the building and to define how the modified building is displayed.
4. Click Story Def to define the stories.
5. Define the roof shape. The procedure is the same as for the Roof Frame tool.
6. The building is modified after you have clicked one or more edges (click edges of the roof frame to apply slopes).

Notes:

• Click Change Archit. Properties to change only the representation of the building.
• Click Delete Building Parts to delete a part of the building you added using Extend Building.
