Create story

Enter the number of residential units and the number of upper floors. The number of upper floors has an effect on the eaves height. To change the height of a floor, click in the height column.

Click Show basement to include the basement in the list.

Click Show top floor to display the top floor in the 3D view.

Click Create stories automatically to display the individual floors in the 3D view.

Click Name to change the name of the floor.

Click Height to change the height of the floor.

Click Occupancy type to change the occupancy type.

Heights

Click Max. building height to define the maximum height of the building.

Click Jamb wall to define the height of the jamb wall. (The height of the jamb wall has an effect on the eaves height.)

Click Height of GF above BL to define the elevation of the ground floor.

Click Eaves height to change the height of the eaves. The system automatically calculates this value from the number and height of the individual floors. When you change the value of the eaves height, the height of the jamb wall changes accordingly. The program creates the floors based on the values specified.

Click Color of floor levels and select a color.
Select Show/Hide and switch off Color stands for pen to display the floors in color.

Color stands for pen means that the color used to display an element on screen is associated with (and thus dependent on) the pen thickness of the element in question. Elements drawn with a certain pen (or pen thickness) are always presented on-screen with the same color, regardless of the colors assigned to the individual elements. You can specify which color represents which pen in the Options (Standard toolbar) on the Desktop environment - Pen colors page. You can switch the Color stands for pen option on and off in Show/Hide on the Standard toolbar.

Click Bottom level to define the height of the bottom level.
