3D QuickSketch

Tool(s): QuickSketch Mode

In 3D QuickSketch mode, you can sketch, draw and make modifications by moving the mouse, and without having to select any functions. These are then converted to 3D design entities by the program such as polygonal surfaces and solids.

Press ALT + left mouse button to enable the QuickSketch mode.

Note: This is not possible when sketches overlap. You can avoid this by creating an open sketch.

(1) Sketch overlaps, this may cause problems
(2) Good; sketch is closed automatically

How to use the 3D QuickSketch mode

1. Press the key combination ALT + left mouse button and select a 3D QuickSketch mode:
   • Create 3D Polyline
   • Create 3D Object
   • Cut 3D
   • Stretch 3D Surface
   • Pierce 3D Surface
   • Slope and Pierce 3D Surface
