Placing in section

Tool(s): Place

A batch should have already been created using the Define Batch tool. Make sure that the bars to be placed are part of such a batch.

To place bars in section

1. Click Place (How).
   

   Activate Place in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Create Engineering Bar Reinforcement

   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   Bar reinforcement

   • Configuration: Engineering Bar Entry and Placement flyout
2. Select the mark to be placed by clicking a reinforcing bar or placed reinforcement. Alternatively, enter its mark number in the dialog line.
3. Set the placing mode to Place in Section and click OK to confirm.
4. Select the placing parameters.
5. Click OK to confirm the settings.
6. Click the first and second point of the placing line.
7. Place the dimension string with the section identifier parallel to the placing line.
8. Specify more placing lines
   Or
   Press ESC.
