Placing

Module(s): Bar Reinforcement

You can use the Place tool to place bar reinforcement. Different placing methods are available for this. You can select the marks either by clicking them or entering their numbers.

To place marks

1. Click Place (How).
   

   Activate Place in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Create Engineering Bar Reinforcement

   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   Bar reinforcement

   • Configuration: Engineering Bar Entry and Placement flyout
2. Select the mark to be placed by:
   • clicking a reinforcing bar or placed reinforcement, or
   • entering the mark number in the dialog line.
3. Select a placing mode:

   

   If the Reinforce with 3D model option is not active, you can also define here whether the bars of the mark in question are to be placed as points, yes/no in the section view or not.

   

   When you activate this button, the respective marks are placed as points to the section display.
   If the button is deactivated, the respective marks are placed in the selected view.

4. Click OK to confirm and place the mark as required by the placing mode you have selected.
