Placing in view

Tool(s): Place

To assign placement quantities to a bar view

  1. Click Place (How).
  2. Select the mark to be placed by clicking a reinforcing bar or placed reinforcement. Alternatively, enter its mark number in the dialog line.
  3. Set the placing mode to Place in View and click OK to confirm.
  4. Set the placing parameters to define the number.
The number, spacing and reinforcement percentage are not mutually interdependent as no geometric placing region has been defined here.
  5. Click OK to confirm the settings.
  6. Press ESC to skip the labeling process and retain the current scope of the label. The mark label is updated automatically.
If, on the other hand, you made changes, you then need to place the label and delete the mark text.
  7. Select the Automatic mark number option in the input options if the program is to create the mark number at the beginning or end of the label depending on the drop-in point specified and define the Anchor point of the label, if necessary.
  8. To change the current scope of the label, specify the label parameters, place the label for the placement (you can set the text angle before you do this) and, if required, create the leader manually.
Then delete the old mark text.
