Parameters for Orthogonal Axis Grid, Overview

In this dialog box you can set parameters for the x- and y-axes separately.

Label

Use these options to define the label for the axis grid. For example, you can set the character height, text angle and numbering format. The settings you make apply to the axis that is currently active (i.e. the active tab).

Display Parameters

You can set parameters for the gridlines in the axis grid here. The settings apply to the region currently selected. You can define different display parameters (pen, line and color) for each region or use the automatic feature near the bottom of the dialog box to use the same pen, line and color settings for all regions.

General parameters

Enter the number of regions for the axis direction in question and a value by which grid lines may overlap the actual grid itself.

Automatic

When this check box is enabled, all the regions in the grid are drawn with the same pen, line and color. Click Use X (or Y) Label to use the complete label of the other axis. You can also set a spacing between the individual gridlines; to do this, click Spacing between Regions.... The system will generate the regions automatically.
