Modify Axis Grid

Module(s): Advanced Draft

You can use the Modify Axis Grid tool to modify an existing axis grid. The system automatically detects whether the grid in question is an orthogonal one or a polar one and displays the appropriate dialog box.

To modify an axis grid

1. Click Modify Axis Grid (How).
   

   Activate Modify Axis Grid in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Modify Advanced Draft

   • Palette: Tools Modify area in the following module(s):

   Advanced Draft

2. Click the axis grid you want to modify.
3. Set the parameters for the orthogonal axis grid or the parameters for the polar axis grid.
4. Click OK to confirm the entries you have made.

Note: The grid can only be addressed as a single element - for manipulation operations, for example. The individual elements in the grid can only be altered using this tool. You can add further information to the labels using the tools in the Text module. Note, however, that these kind of enhancements will be lost whenever you employ the Modify Axis Grid tool.
