Axis Grid

You can use the Axis Grid tool to create mutually perpendicular axis lines spaced at a value you specify. The X and Y axes can be labeled separately. An axis grid can also be subdivided into regions, each of which has different display settings - for example, color, line type and spacing between axis lines.

To create an orthogonal axis grid

  1. Click Axis Grid (How).
  2. Set the parameters in the dialog box.
  3. Use the Input options to specify whether the axes are created as 2D or 3D lines and define the grid’s drop-in point.
    The drop-in point is at top left.
  4. Enter the angle of the grid in one of the following ways:
