Modify a bar label

Modifying elements using the Properties palette

You can use the Label entry in the list box of the Properties palette to modify the label parameters of one or more definition bars or bar placements. In addition, you can use the Dimension line, label entry to modify the dimension line parameters of bar placements with the dimension line type set to dimension line.

To modify the parameters of one or more bar labels

1. Select the bar labels you want to modify, open the Properties palette and choose Label or Dimension line, label.
   

   • To select a single element, click it.
   • To select elements in a region, use the left mouse button to open a selection rectangle around the elements you want to select
   • To include all the elements in the current document, click All in the Input options or press CTRL+A. Please note that this option is not available for all tools.

   When selecting elements, you can use the Filter Assistant to apply a filter based on element types and/or properties. For more information, see Filter Assistant.

   When you have selected bar labels, Allplan only displays the properties that are identical for all labels. However, you can change different properties so that they form a common, new property.

2. Specify the label parameters or the dimension line parameters in the parameter area.

   The graphics area updates immediately to reflect your entries.
   

Note: You can use Match parameters to match the parameters of a different label or dimension line. You can use Save as a favorite to save the settings and Load favorite to read the settings back into the palette, where you can modify them. Click Favorite QuickSelect to select from the five favorites you have used most recently.
