Tool(s) Label Style

This example shows how to create a label style consisting of a single foil using the Paragraph Text tool. The spacing between the individual lines of text is displayed at the actual value at all reference scales. The attributes in the example Label style with floor area (name, function, floor area and floor area) serve as the basis.

To create a label style with a universal foil

  1. Set the Reference Scale (How) to 1:100.
  2. Click Label Style (How).
Click Attribute and place the following attributes exactly one below the other and at the same spacing:
  3. Press ESC to quit the tool.
  4. Click Text Lines to Paragraph (How).

The paragraph text is given the parameters of the attributes; the distance between the first two lines defines the spacing between the lines in the paragraph text.

  5. Select the placed attributes.

The attributes combined to form a paragraph text are attached to the crosshairs.

  6. Place the paragraph text in the workspace and check whether all the attributes have been transferred correctly to the paragraph.

Tip: You can use Change Text Parameters (How) to modify the appearance of the paragraph text.

  7. To save the label style, click Label Style (How) again. Click DefFol in the form and select the text.
  8. Define a reference point for the label (bottom left corner of the first line is best) and save.
