You can use the 3D Surface tool to create planar surfaces of any shape based on existing, closed 3D polylines or by entering new boundary lines for the surface.

Note: You can use the 3D Surface tool to create the boundary lines of surfaces. To create outlines in three-dimensional space, use 3D Line.
