3D surface from existing lines

Tool(s): 3D Surface

To convert a closed polyline consisting of 3D lines to a 3D surface

1. Click 3D Surface (How).
   

   Activate 3D Surface in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Create Bonus Tools 3D Modeling

   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   3D Modeling

   • Configuration: Design Basic 3D Elements flyout
2. Click 3D Surface from existing 3D Lines on the 3D Surface Context toolbar.
3. Select one or more lines.

   Note: Make sure that the lines lie in one plane and form a closed polyline.

   

   (A) Individual 3D lines can be selected
   (B) Surface can only be selected in its entirety
