Pattern definition

You can use the Reshape Surface Element, Architectural Area tool to add areas to hatching, patterns, fills, bitmaps, style areas or architectural elements (slabs, rooms, floors, ceilings, roof covering) or remove such areas.

To reshape areas with hatching, patterns, fills, bitmaps or style areas

1. Click Reshape Surface Element, Architectural Area (How).
   

   Activate Reshape Surface Element, Architectural Area in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Modify Draft

   • Toolbar: Basic Tools Draft flyout
   • Palette: Tools Change area in the following module(s):

   Draft

   Basic: Walls, Openings, Components

   Special: Walls, Openings, Components

   Rooms, Surfaces, Stories

   Landscaping

   Urban Planning

   Object Manager

   Paint

   • Configuration: Architecture Architecture Edit flyout
   • Configuration: Landscaping/Urban Planning Modifications flyout
2. Click the element where you want to add or delete areas.
3. To add an area, click Plus in the Input Options. To delete an area, click Minus.
4. Enter the area you want to add or remove using the polyline entry tools.
