Photo settings

You can use this tool to specify which of the elements in the 3D model are to be displayed in the photo-realistic image, and how. The settings you make are valid for all the calculations until you change them.

Photo

You can use this tool to create a realistic, vector-oriented 2D image with shadows based on a 3D model or selected elements.

Photo for Sun Study

You can use this tool to create a sun study based on several photos. You set a fixed view and let the sun wander. Allplan calculates photos at intervals you specify.
When you save the individual photos in drawing files, you can use the Create, Save File Show tool in the Paint module to combine the individual photos to create a file show and run this show using Run File Show.

Shadow to Hatching

You can use this tool to convert the shadows cast (created with the Shadow module) to hatching (e.g., to obtain specific effects).

Surroundings

You can use this tool to set the natural surroundings (location, season, position of north, position of sun and so on) for your 3D model.

The Shadow module takes into account the settings for Position of sun / north and Location.

Set Surface

You can use this tool to simulate materials by assigning surface properties (incl. luster, reflection and transparency) to each line color and pen color.

The Shadow module takes into account the colors assigned.
