Creating a photo-realistic image

To create a photo-realistic image (important steps)
- Select the documents with the 3D model.
- Surroundings (How):
Define the location, date, time, sunlight, background or sky and, if you want, a virtual ground plane. - Set Light for Project (How):
Position the light sources and switch on the lights. The light sources apply to the entire project. - Set Surface (How):
Assign surface properties to colors.
If you want to assign custom surfaces to elements, you can also use Assign Custom Surfaces to 3D, Archit. Elements (How). - Define the scene for the image. You can choose any view type.
The following tools on the viewport toolbar help you find the best scene:- 3D View for selecting the central perspective and setting the focal length (or the camera angle)
- Navigation Mode for setting the scene intuitively.
- We recommend using the Animation (F4) view type in conjunction with Navigation Mode. You can use the mouse to set the scene intuitively. In addition, you get a first impression of the surfaces assigned.
- Options (How):
Set the animation parameters using the Options - Desktop environment - Animation. - Render (How):
Define the render settings. - Start rendering.
The program renders the scene set in the current viewport.
