Note: The vertical surfaces, ceilings, floors and baseboard defined in the Finish tab are part of the room and cannot be selected, filtered and found by clicking them individually or enclosing them in a selection rectangle. To select all surfaces, click All in the input options.
To analyze individual finishing surfaces or areas, you can use the reports in the Finish - Finishing surfaces folder or the reports in the Trades - Plaster and stucco work folder.

Click the attributes you want to change or define. Use the horizontal scroll bar to display further columns with attributes in the table.

Note: There are some particular points to bear in mind when you modify finishing surfaces and baseboard using Redefine Rooms, Surfaces, Stories:

Load favorite , Save as a favorite

You can save the current settings for the covering or baseboard as a favorite file or retrieve a favorite file and alter it.

Match

You can copy the settings from an existing room.

Note: This is where you can modify the custom surface of the top layer; all the other attributes are not changed.
The button for selecting surfaces is only available when the Assign/remove vertical surface/ceiling/floor covering or baseboard check box is not selected.

You can save the current settings for the entire finish, including all the coverings and baseboards as a favorite file, or retrieve a saved finish file and alter it.

You can use the attributes (Material/qualities, Thickness, Trade, ...) from a wizard or an existing room for the current layer. In the case of a room that consists of several layers, only the layer with the same number is used.
