Defining Route Profiles Automatically

Tool(s): Properties of the bridge/civil engineering designer

When you define a route profile, you define all the parameters for the height and longitudinal slope of the route as well the height curvature.
When a route profile is defined manually, the Z coordinate and angle of rise have to be calculated and entered separately for each station point. In automatic mode, however, you only need to define individual sections of the route, which the program then uses to determine the Z coordinates and angles of rise for all the station points.

What do you want to do?

Define a route profile with a constant longitudinal slope

Define a route profile with a variable longitudinal slope

Move a route profile to another height

Note: When you switch from automatic to manual mode by clicking Define route profile manually, the values calculated are retained.
