Shortcut menu for entering points

Using the Divide Element , Station Element and Perpendicular through Station tools (in the Site Plan module), you can make additional point settings using Select point symbol in the input options or Terrain point definition on the shortcut menu. You can define the symbol used to represent the point as well the primary and secondary point number.

Click to match an existing point symbol or terrain point.
To exclude the point symbol from being displayed, click Off.

Match primary point number automatically

If this option is selected and the name of the composite element contains an encrypted number (in the Name parameter of the Modify Element Parameters tool), the primary point number of the composite element will be used automatically. You cannot enter if manually.

Constant primary point number

It represents the constant part of the point number. Entering the value 0 will set this option off.

Start value of secondary point number

It represents the dynamic part of the point number - this value will increase with each consecutive point. A value of 0 will disable the numbering feature.
The Perpendicular through Station tool automatically takes the secondary point number from the reference element for composite elements.

Point symbol

You can select a symbol to represent the point.
The Perpendicular through Station tool takes the point symbol from the reference element.
