Entering outline of slope
Tool(s): Freeform Slope + Slope
You can enter the outline of the slope using the polyline entry tools.
To enter the outline of a slope
- Place the start point for the outline of the slope or click an element.
- Enter the height of the point or element.
The height is based on the last point you enter or on the height of the element’s end point. - Enter the next point.
The height is valid until you change it. - To finish, click the first point again or press ESC.
Notes:
- If you click and polygonize an element, the start point is automatically given the current value for the height. You cannot assign the height yourself. Therefore, first click a point, enter the height and then use the element.
- The differences in height between points are interpolated in a linear manner.
- When the element has 3D points (not DTM points), clicking one of them will automatically cause its height to be adopted and proposed. Together with the Modify Terrain Point Height tool in the Site Plan module, you can thus use the control points of three-dimensional traces for the slope tool.
