Palette for Window SmartPart + Window SmartPart

You can enter the dimensions for the Window Sill SmartPart.

Notes: You can insert a window sill SmartPart in a window opening if the bottom edge of the opening is horizontal.
To analyze window sill SmartParts, you can use the Reports tool (Window sills.rdlc).

Settings

Type: you can specify whether you want to create an inner or outer window sill.
After having selected an option, you can enter the dimensions (1-6) for the relevant window sill.
The meanings of the dimensions are illustrated in the graphics above.

Dimensions

Frame depth: you can enter the depth of the window frame between the inner and the outer window sill.

Height (1+2+4): The Height value (sum of height 1 + height 2 + offset) is for information. This value is an attribute of the window sill. The program uses it to calculate the height. Based on this height, you can decide to provide fall protection.
Note: Using Assign, Modify Object Attributes (shortcut menu of SmartPart), you can check the attributes of the SmartPart.

Offset to the left / Offset to the right: you can define how far the SmartPart is from the window opening or door opening.

Note: When you place or select a SmartPart, an arrow appears in the middle of the SmartPart. This arrow indicates the outside of the SmartPart. Depending on the position of the SmartPart within the opening, you can see another symbol This symbol indicates that the SmartPart is mirrored before it is placed. You can set the size and color of these symbols using the Size of CursorTips for snap points and Color of CursorTips options you can find in the Options (Default toolbar), Point snap page, Point snap representation area.
