Structure of palette

Tool(s): Label + Dimension Line, Label

The Bar Label palette, which you can customize for your needs, consists of four or five sections.

Dimension line type

With the Dimension Line, Label tool, you select the dimension line type in the list box at the top. Click to open a dialog box that displays all the dimension line types graphically.

Graphics

The currently selected dimension line or bar label is displayed in the graphics area. The part of the dimension line or label you have selected in the parameters area is highlighted in color.

Parameters

When the dimension line type is set to Dimension line, you specify the parameters of the dimension line in this area. When it is set to Mark symbols, you specify the text parameters and format properties of the mark number. In addition, you define the parameters of the label and the leader.

You can enter, select, calculate or match parameter values. Use the check boxes to define optional parameters.

Additional information on the parameter to be defined is displayed.

Action bar

You can use the tools in this area to match the parameters of existing bar labels, load settings saved as favorites, save settings as favorites and open the options.
