Label

Module(s): Bar Reinforcement + BAMTEC

You can use the Label tool to label definition bars or bars in placements. Define the parameters in the palette.
You can make various formatting settings on the Labels page of the reinforcement options.

To create labels at a later stage

  1. Click Label (How).

The palette displays the settings of the last definition bar labeled.

  2. Specify the label parameters.
  3. Select the Automatic mark number option in the input options if the program is to create the mark number at the beginning or end of the label depending on the drop-in point specified and define the Anchor point of the label, if necessary.

If you have selected the Separate option for the mark number on the Reinforcement - Label page of the Options, a two-line label is created. The leader acts as a separator and the mark number is attached to the end of the leader. In this case, you need to specify whether the label is placed horizontally or in the direction of the other labels.

  4. Click the bar to be labeled.

If you click a bar within a placement without changing the label parameters or if you open this tool using the shortcut menu of this bar, the palette displays the settings of the last placement you labeled with this tool.

  5. If necessary, change the label parameters again, place the label of the bar or placement (you can define the text angle in advance) and create the leader manually.
    Or:
    Skip labeling by pressing ESC.
  6. When you have configured Allplan to create a layer symbol ( Options, Reinforcement - Label page) and you have not yet placed this symbol along with the label, you can now select a Layer symbol in the Leader area of the palette and click the drop-in point or a bar segment.
    Or
Skip layer marking by pressing ESC.

Note: You can use Match parameters to match the parameters of another bar label. You can use Save as a favorite to save the settings and Load favorite to read the settings back into the palette, where you can modify them. Click Favorite QuickSelect to select from the five favorites you have used most recently.
