Reinforcement options, representation

A number of parameters are provided for controlling how wire meshes are displayed when they are placed. Using these parameters, you can also emphasize the overlap between groups of wire meshes. The settings you make are valid for any new wire meshes you create. The manner in which existing meshes are displayed does not change.

Display in general

Diagonal: diagonal lines are added to the meshes when they are placed.

Border: only the borders of the meshes are displayed; the diagonals are hidden.

Cross: the standard display type used in France is applied to the meshes. The main load-bearing direction and the transverse reinforcement are highlighted by two intersecting lines. The diamond-shaped mark box is displayed at the point of intersection. The line thickness of the two lines is based on the settings you have made for the mesh boundary and mesh diagonal.

Note: You can modify how meshes are displayed using the Modify Shell, Modify Placement Parameters and Modify Local Placement Parameters tools.

Bent-up meshes: display main diagonal line only

This option is active: only the main diagonal line is drawn for bent-up meshes.

This option is not active: a separate line is drawn for each area of the bent-up mesh when viewed in elevation.

Display mesh overlap in sections

This option is active: the meshes are displayed in a staggered manner in the section provided that you are working with the reinforcement model. This enables you to reinforce walls in plan view, for example, as the overlap of the meshes is visible.

This option is not active: the meshes are not displayed in a staggered manner in the section so that the overlap cannot be recognized. However, you can create it later using the Modify Placement Parameters tool.

Line length for group display

Enter the length of the line used to display mesh overlaps in groups of wire meshes.
