Modify Shell

Module(s): Bar Reinforcement + Mesh Reinforcement + BAMTEC

You can use the Modify Shell tool to modify the geometric outline of bar or mesh area reinforcement by inserting or deleting recesses or changing the support depth. You can subsequently modify all the placing parameters.

To modify the geometric outline of bar or mesh area reinforcement

1. Click Modify Shell (How).
   

   Activate Modify Shell in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Modify Engineering Bar Reinforcement/Mesh Reinforcement/BAMTEC

   • Palette: Tools Modify area in the following module(s):

   Bar Reinforcement

   Mesh Reinforcement

   BAMTEC

   • Configuration: Engineering Engineering Modify flyout
2. Click the placement whose geometry you want to change.
3. Make your changes.
4. Click OK to confirm your entries.
5. Depending on the reinforcement type, you can adjust the parameters of the bar placement or the parameters of the mesh placement.
6. Click OK to confirm your entries. The placement is updated to reflect the changes.
