Reinforcement contours

Module(s): Bar Reinforcement + Mesh Reinforcement + BAMTEC + Frilo Plate + Frilo Disc

You can use the Reinforcement Contours tool to display reinforcement contours in the active drawing file. This requires a fully completed FEA calculation whose results can be accessed here.

To display FEA results as contour lines representing reinforcement requirements

1. Click Reinforcement Contours (How).
   

   Activate Reinforcement Contours in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Create Engineering Bar Reinforcement/Mesh Reinforcement/BAMTEC
   • Create Frilo Structural Analyses Frilo Plate/Frilo Disc

   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   Bar Reinforcement

   Mesh Reinforcement

   BAMTEC

   Frilo Plate

   Frilo Disc

   • Configuration: Engineering Display flyout
2. Select the FEA results you want to use as the basis for the contours display by selecting one of the FEA drawing files displayed in the Drawing file area.
   

   Displays all the drawing files that can be used for the display.

   Click the drawing file in question in order further structure its design results.

   The current FEA drawing file number or the one you selected last is displayed below Drawing file of FEA calculation.

3. Enter settings for the other parameters in the Display Contours Reinforcement dialog box.
4. Confirm your entries.
   

Note: Depending on the settings you make in the dialog box, the data for the reinforcement contours may be in the drawing file without actually being visible. To remove this kind of data from the drawing file, click Delete in the dialog box.
