Any view
Module(s): Shell
You can use the Any View tool to place a three-dimensional view on the document – for visual collision checks, for example.
To create perspective (= not modifiable) views
- Check that at least two viewports are open.
- Activate one of the viewports and set the desired three-dimensional view of the model. Use the following to do this:
- Rear Left, Northwest Isometric View (How) or
- Rear Right, Northeast Isometric View (How) or
- Front Left, Southwest Isometric View (How) or
- Front Right, Southeast Isometric View (How) or
- 3D View (How)
- Click Any View (How).
- If you have already created several views using the Use for Shell or Convert to Shell tools, click the associated view.
- You can now place the new view (a preview of the view is attached to the crosshairs) where you require it.
Various data entry tools are provided to help you position it accurately.
Note: The automatic tools for reinforcing bars, meshes, views and sections are not taken into account by this tool.
