Module(s): Shell

You can use the Convert View to Section tool to convert a view to a section. For this, you need at least two views seen from two different directions. You define the clipping area by entering section polygons in these views.

  3. You can control how the clipping path and section are displayed by clicking Show Clipping Path on the Context toolbar and setting the display parameters in the Section dialog box.
  4. Enter a clipping area to define the boundary for the first section line. To do this, click as many points as you want or define the polygon using a selection rectangle.
Enter a section identifier if you have not already done so in the Section dialog box.
  5. In a different section or view, enter another section area to define the second section polygon. To do this, click as many points as you want or define the polygon using a selection rectangle.
