Landscaping legend, drawing symbol legend

You can use the Landscaping Legend or Drawing Symbol Legend tool to include plants or pavements in active documents in a legend.
Legends can update automatically (depending on the setting you make).
To create a legend
- Click Landscaping Legend (How) or Drawing Symbol Legend (How).
- Select the folder, subfolder and name of the legend.

Subfolder: 60 Drawing Symbol Regulations - Define the type of the legend:
- When you select the Associative legend of active document option, any changes in the document are automatically displayed in the legend.
- Clear this option if you want the legend to reflect the current status of the document.
- You can use Precision of calculation to switch the precision setting for drawing files from earlier versions that were drawn with standard precision (+ = real*4).
- Associative legends can be placed immediately in the document.
In the case of non-associative legends, do the following:- the elements you want to include.
Click in the Input Options to find elements based on advanced criteria (e.g. material).
This is done in the same way as in the Find Elements tool. - Place the legend in the drawing file.
- Associative legends can be edited using the shortcut menu. You have the following options:
- Use the Update Label tool to include any changes you have made in the document or drawing file in the legend.
- You can change the page break within a legend by clicking in the workspace or entering a value in the dialog line.
- You can resize a legend by clicking in the workspace or entering a factor in the dialog line.
- You can explode a legend into design entities.
Note: The Landscaping and Urban Planning modules include legends specially tailored to the discipline they cover. You can access these legends by clicking Landscaping Legend or Drawing Symbol Legend.
These two tools function in the same way.
Note: The Landscaping Legend uses the group names of the selected plant catalog (e.g. Bruns). You can modify the Bruns group names freely in Allplan. This way, you can control how the plants are grouped in the legends.
