When you open the Facade tool (How), the linear facade type is active by default. In other words, you can immediately enter new point of a facade by clicking.

Match all

You can use this tool to match an existing object style.
To select the facade, you can click any of its elements.

Retrieve facade favorites

You can use this tool to open the Facade Favorites dialog box.

Scheme settings

You can use this tool to open the Scheme dialog box, where you can specify a scheme for the facade.

btn_object_layout_einstellungen

Object layout settings

You can use this tool to open the Object Layout dialog box, where you can specify how the objects are arranged.

Subdivision settings

You can use this tool to open the Subdivision dialog box, where you can make subdivision settings.

Object definitions

You can use this tool to open the Objects dialog box, where you can define object styles.

 

 

Facade path

Facade wall

You can use this tool to extrude the path entered. This produces a linear facade.

btn_fläche

Facade face

You can use this tool to extrude the path entered. This produces a two-dimensional facade.

btn_kurve_linie

Straight component

The current curve of the path is a line.

btn_kurve_kreis

Curved component

The current curve of the path is a circle.

btn_kurve_poly

Polyline-based component

The current curve of the path is a polyline.

btn_kurve_spline

Spline-based component

The current curve of the path is a polyline.

If you have not yet selected an object style, only the grid of the facade is drawn.

 

 

Curve properties

 

Curve number

The current curve number is displayed while you are entering a path.
When you choose Modify, you can use the arrows next to Curve to select the curve number you want to modify (provided there are several curves).

Reverse

You can use this tool to alternate the position of the facade relative to the path / surface (left/right).

 

Height

Enter the (extrusion) height of the path.

 

Angle

Enter the (extrusion) angle of the path.

Undo point

You can use this tool to undo every path point entered in reverse order.

Finish curve

You can use this tool to complete a curve and start a new one without having to quit entering points. The individual curves of a path can be of different Height and Angle. You can change the curve type at any time (even while entering points) until you finish the curve.

Settings

You can use this tool to open the Settings dialog box, where you can make more settings for facades.

 

 

Modification tools

Modify

You can use this tool to modify an existing facade.
After you have selected a facade, it is displayed in preview mode and can be modified.

Modify points of curve/path

You can use this tool to move the path points of the facade. This tool functions in the same way as Stretch Entities. To quit the tool, click Apply or Cancel.

Add points to curve

You can use this tool to add path points. This tool functions in the same way as Fold Line. To quit the tool, click Apply or Cancel.

Modify lower/upper height

You can use this tool to move the extrusion points of the path. To quit the tool, click Apply or Cancel.

 

 

Import tools

Convert 3D object to facade

You can use this tool to convert an Allplan 3D object to facade faces. The 3D object does not have to be closed. To quit the tool, click Apply or Cancel.

Convert 3D object to facade and subdivide facade

You can use this tool to import an Allplan 3D surface as a facade face.

Convert facade to 3D object

You can use this tool to convert facades to 3D objects. You can then change the geometry of the 3D objects using suitable tools. To quit the tool, click Apply or Cancel.

 

 

Layout tools

Assign object

You can use this tool to insert an object in an existing facade.

Assign edge layout

You can use this tool to change the edges in an existing facade field.

Assign combining of fields

You can use this tool to combine facade fields.

Assign subdivision

You can use this tool to divide an existing facade field again.

 

 

Buttons

 

Apply

Click Apply to apply the changes you have made using the modification tools to the selected facade or to create facades based on the 3D elements you have selected with the import tools.

 

Cancel

Click Cancel to discard the changes you have made using the modification tools or to cancel the conversion of 3D elements to facades. The Facade tool is still open and you can continue.
