Modifying a bar shape placed

Modifying elements using the Properties palette

You can use the Place Bar Shape entry in the list box of the Properties palette to modify the parameters of one or more placements. When you select a single placement, you can even redefine the placing region.

To modify the parameters of one or more placements of reinforcing bars

  1. Select the bar shapes and/or placements you want to modify and select Place Bar Shape in the Properties palette.

When you have selected several placements, Allplan only displays the properties that are identical for all placements. However, you can change different properties so that they form a common, new property.

  2. When you have only selected a single placement, you can now redefine the placing region. Click in the Placing line line, specify the new points of the placing line and, if necessary, select the corresponding view. As an alternative to entering two points for defining the placing line, click Match placing line to the right of Placing line and then click a bar in the placement of which you want to match the placing line. You can do this in any view.

After you have defined the new placing region, you can specify the concrete cover at the start and end of the placing region. Regardless of the points clicked or the placing line matched, the new placing region is always created so that it is aligned with the old placement.

  3. Define the reinforcement parameters and, if necessary, the position of the placement.
Most parameters are also displayed in the graphics area, where you can define them by clicking.

Your drawing and the parameter area update immediately to reflect your entries.

Note: You can use Match to match the parameters of a different placement. You can use Save as a favorite to save the settings and Load favorite to read the settings back into the palette, where you can modify them. Click Favorite QuickSelect to select from the five favorites you have used most recently.
