Record Movie -> From camera path

Using From camera path, you move a camera along a path (defined using Set Camera Path) around the 3D model. The program takes into account the light sources and light settings you defined using Set Light for Project.

You can record an AVI movie from the bitmaps the program calculates. If you want, you can also save these images separately.

To move the camera along a predefined camera path

• You have already defined the camera path using Set Camera Path.

1. Click Record Movie (How).
   

   Activate Record Movie in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Create Presentation Animation

   • Toolbar: Create
   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   Animation

   • Shortcut menu: Navigation Mode selected - Right mouse button

   The Movie palette opens.

2. In the New movie area, click From camera path.
3. The Cameras palette opens. Select the Camera path you want to use for the movie.
4. The Name of camera path palette opens. Define the parameters as you need.

   Tip: If you want to run the movie without recording it, leave the Name box empty.

5. To run the movie, click OK to confirm your settings and then Yes.

   The program calculates the images of the movie, informing you about the image it is currently recording and the total number of images.

6. You can cancel at any time by pressing ESC.
