Resizing spacing between parallel dimension lines
Tool(s): Move Dimension Line
To resize the spacing between parallel dimension lines
- Click Move Dimension Line (How).
- On the context toolbar, click Resize dimension line spacing.
- the dimension lines whose spacing you want to resize.
Note: If you select dimension lines which are not parallel, the following message will appear in the dialog line: The dimension lines you have selected are not parallel – click critical dimension line. Click a dimension line. Now only the dimension lines that are parallel to the one you have clicked are selected.
- Click a point which is to serve as the fixed point for the operation.
The fixed point can be on the dimensioned element. In this case, the spacing between the dimension line and the element also changes. - Enter the resizing factor in one of the following ways:
- Enter the factor in the dialog line and press Enter to confirm (factors < 1 reduce the elements while factors > 1 enlarge them).
- Specify the factor using the mouse (from point, to point).
