Default reference planes

Height at bottom, height at top

Enter the height of the top and bottom of the default reference planes. This height is used for all drawing files that are not part of a building structure.

Representation in 3D in elevation and isometric views

When this option is selected, default planes are displayed as a square of 2mx2m at the origin in all views on screen.

Pen, line, color

You can define the pen, line and color. These settings are used to display the default reference planes on screen.

Surface

You can assign a surface (e.g., a transparent glass surface) to the planes. This surface is used for animation. Use the Options - Desktop environment - Animation to define how places look in viewports with the Animation view type.

Note: You need to execute Restore 3D View to adjust the display of the planes to the size of the current 3D model and to apply the current settings you have made for the format properties.
