Attribute groups

Tool(s): Label Style, Define Attributes + Legend, Define Cell

The program provides numerous predefined attributes you can use to define label styles, formulas and legends. You can also assign your own custom attributes. Attributes are generally combined into groups.

Note: Attribute groups are listed alphabetically.

Attribute group

Meaning

Add-on modules

This includes attributes for analyzing and evaluating elements created in Allplan's various add-on modules such as SCIA Engineer.

General

This includes general and system-specific attributes, such as current date, customer name, project name and computer.

Allplan Exchange

This includes the attributes for Allplan Exchange Layout Distribution.

General architecture

This includes all geometric attributes from the architectural family of modules,
such as component number, name, trade, smart symbol name, material and so on.

Archit. roof covering

This includes attributes for analyzing roof covering,
such as arris length, ridge length and verge length.

Archit. quantities

This includes all alphanumeric attributes from quantity takeoff calculations and smart symbols,
such as thickness, area, height, volume and so on.

Special archit. attributes

This includes special architectural attributes,
such as Allplan BCM component ID, attribute value, component numbers, hierarchic levels, reveal data, formula and so on.

Material attributes

This includes material attributes for architectural elements.

User

You can define your own custom attributes in addition to the predefined Allplan ones.

Digital terrain model

This includes attributes required for analyzing digital terrain models.

DIN 277, floor area

This includes attributes for calculating area and cubic content in buildings according to DIN 277,
such as GFA, GRV, area type, occupancy type and so on.

Fixtures

This includes attributes required for analyzing elements from the Fixtures module.

FM Manager

This includes attributes for analyzing elements created using FM Manager, the facility management module.

IFC

This includes IFC-specific attributes (e.g. IFC ID).

Engineering

This includes the attributes for engineering-specific analyses.

Smart Fit

This includes attributes that are required for analyzing elements from the Smart Fit module.

Landscaping

This includes the attributes for the Landscaping module (for generating plant reports, for example),
such as botanical name, price, type, vitality and so on.

Cadastral plan

This includes attributes from the Allplan plug-in Cadastral Plan.

Object Manager

This includes the attributes of the Object Manager module.

Layout

This includes the layout-specific attributes,
such as date of change, layout name, layout number, checked by and so on.

Layout index

This includes the attributes for creating a layout index,
such as number_changes, approval date, index data and so on.

Project

This includes the project attributes.

Urban Planning

This includes the attributes for the Urban Planning module,
such as construction method, occupancy type, drawing symbol group and so on.

Drawing file

This includes attributes for analyzing data in drawing files.

TBM

These attribute groups include attributes for analyzing elements created with the modules in the Technical Building Equipment family.

Thermal Insulation

This includes attributes required for thermal insulation calculations,
such as component, input area, area type, inclination, u-value and so on.
