Component Parameters Dialog Box

Tool(s): Concrete construction - 3D object

You can set the parameters of components in this dialog box. The preview is updated automatically to reflect any changes you make to the parameters. Some parameters are only available to specific component types.

Note: You can also access this dialog box via the shortcut menu by clicking with the right mouse button when you place the component. The screen is updated immediately to reflect any changes you make to the parameters.

Enter dimensions

You can enter the height values of the component as absolute values.

Enter elevation specs

You can enter the height values of the component as elevation specs.
This automatically defines the z coordinate of the component and consequently, it cannot be modified when you place the component.

You can select the shape of the column head and enter a value for the inclination.

Column with/without foundation

You can specify whether the column is to be created with or without foundation.
You can use this setting to control the position of the drop-in point.

Place column on foundation axis

You can specify whether the column is to be placed so that it is centered on the foundation.

When this option is disabled for columns without foundation, you can select the drop-in point freely. Otherwise, the axis of the column is automatically used as the drop-in point.

Place pocket on foundation axis

You can specify whether the pocket is to be placed so that it is centered on the foundation.

The center of the pocket is used as the drop-in point.

Enter points for drag and drop

You can use drag and drop to copy the parameters of a component to another one. Press and hold down the left mouse button and drag to to which the parameters are to be applied. The relevant parameters are highlighted in blue.

This is where you specify how stair dimensions are entered.
You can enter the flight length or the bottom length of the first step or the bottom length of the last step. The other dimensions are calculated automatically.

Record Management

You can use this to save component settings as styles and retrieve them later.

Enter additional corbels

In the case of columns, you can add more corbels, delete or copy them.

You can select the view in which the component is to be displayed in the preview.
